So what did YOU do today?

I've noticed. I used to play with this scottish guy and right after the update where slimes became more common he got trapped by a tiny one in our storage room. It was bugging through the floor so it couldn't be killed and it had him locked down in a corner up against our cobble chests. He was furious and I couldn't help him as I was laughing too much

I dug a decent amount today, about two layers worth of stone. I also light up some mine shafts and even found a cave spider spawner. I was on long enough to catch Train and Sret, both who left abruptly. Anyways, I'll be digging on a more regular basis.

Good to see we got another long lost member back onboard. Our numbers seemed to be dwindling for a little bit there.

I think it's safe to destroy the spawners... We've already destroyed 4 in that area

Okay, that's probably the last time I'm gonna play for quite a while. I actually spent hours on the server getting so much stuff done and then it all ended in disaster and I went here and spent 30 minutes writing a HUGE post just to hit the wrong button towards the end and somehow managing to delete all of it.

Here's a quick sum up:

I dug 3 layers. Used about 25 picks. Removed all the ores from the quarry walls. Cleaned out tons of shafts (place is now a mess thanks to them, but that means there's way less that needs to be dug).

Eventually, Jeff joined me. In the short time he visited he managed to blow up twice at the stronghold entrance (not that much damage done, somehow) completely destroy the un-welcome mat and destroy the secret passage to top it off.

I had like 20 more things to say but I'm just gonna go kill myself now.

I cant FIX THE D@#)$*!%*&^%*!*%^ THING!!! It only works once after I tried to fix it and then it doesn't reset. AND when the arrows are on the back layer of pistons was still up when they shouldn't be.. ARG AADFKS. What the crap happended!?!?!?! (sniffle) I'ma go eat chocolate to comfort my suckingness at redstone... It's so much more complicated than I thought.

Dug out a layer of stone, ended up getting killed, got lost and camped in a village I found. p.s sorry about the cobble chests getting damaged, I atempted to add some defence to the site by building a small cobble wall.

Ok, I know exactly how both things work, so I'll get them fixed ASAP (got a lecture soon, then I can be home)...

Creeper, and a skelly decided to shoot at me.

It's not THAT bad lol. The mat isn't broken, it just shoots all the arrows. And the secret door trapped me so I had to break 2 pistons and smoothstone to get out. I'll fix it later. I started working on farm cave but wasn't sure how much to dig so I stopped.

Guess I'm just a redstone retard then because I freaking raged when I couldn't make it work.

But seriously, it's great we have so much activity and progress being made. Even with the destruction and death on the server ATM.

Fixed the unwelcome mat. The problem was a glitch with the tripwire hooks, and a server reset fixed it

Then, supacreator decided that a creper blast would be fun... So... I fixed it again :p

Did a little digging in the pit, then went out and got myself a new laptop

i7 2.3GHz, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 640M with 2GB dedicated VRAM... and a whole lot of other fancy numbers and letter combinations that make no sense to me at all :p All I know is... it's fast Can't wait to try out minecraft on it

Yes... A laptop so I can survive uni... The old one was about 2 years old and very close to a trip out the window

Today I dug the remaining levels until there was about half of the last floor left. I also managed to put up about 20 % of the dirt floor thanks to mineshafts, which also helps making the last digging easier with no holes to fall in.

Furthermore I completely removed the carved out staircase and smelted 22 stacks of smoothstone at the site.
