Thanks! Always good to hear that my powers of education aren't too rusty!

Swedes do get something for their insanely high taxes after all.
In relation to the size of the country, Sweden isn't densely populated. But the population is concentrated on the coast and to the south, and is highly urbanized, with much of the country being frozen wilderness.
Australia is even bigger, but despite their self-cultivated image as rugged outback-savvy outdoorsmen, they're actually one of the most urbanized countries on the planet, with a higher proportion of their people living in big cities than most European countries.
Re: Inactivity Thread
The taxes are indeed ridiculous.
I suppose most of the population is concentrated to the southern part of the country, with the north having way more untouched wilderness. This reflects in the fact that houses are rather expensive in the south and way cheaper in the north where there are less jobs and so on.

Oh yeah, that's about right with Australia. We do still have the outback living style, but it's nowhere near as common. A large number of Aussies don't even know what it's like out there. We've got most of the population squeezed in along the east coast, and around the edges of the country, and out west is pretty much a giant sand pit... We just take pride in our beaches
Sorry about the capitalisation sret :p Think it was that autocorrect thing... And taxes are always ridiculous

Been taken by RL again... Perhaps some time for the server on Sunday though.... Give it 4 weeks and I'll have nothing to worry about in life but work, minecraft, and my own personal hobbies

Another holiday coming up?
I like how you ranked Minecraft above personal hobbies
edit: Argh, every time I decide not to quote it puts my post on a new page

Re: Inactivity Thread
Well guys, I don't know if you missed me or not but I'm back, kinda. Sorry for my long period of inactivity, i've been going through some pretty hectic RL stuff over the past couple of months including moving house, jobs and lots more, and completely forgot I like Minecraft ^^. I can't promise I'l be as active as I used to be, but I'm going to at least stay active on the forums, and help out where I can, can anyone update me on what the status of the project is, what needs doing, what i've missed, things like that?

Re: Inactivity Thread
Np at all, we're always glad to have people come back. I'm not sure if you had disappeared by the time we built the atrium and apartments but the big project we've started after that is the farm caves. We've also worked a little on the spawn village and we're discussing plans for the forge.
The digsite for the farm caves are located past the village in the desert. It's easy to find but I'm sure somebody can show you the way. We've dug quite a lot but have plenty left. You should have a look at the specific threads for further information. We also have a few newer members that have been rather active lately so jump on and get to know the guys and I'm sure they'll fill you in on stuff.

Nice picture xD
It pretty much sums it up. You don't have to walk long at all after the village before you see reeds and the stone structure that holds the storage at the site. There's also a few torches on the way there.

Re: Inactivity Thread
Gah, things are heating up on my other server. Among other things,we've had a bunch of people come back after a long absence and start improving their bases, so I've been digging subway tunnels out to them. We're also about to kill our own Enderdragon, so I gotta get ready for that. I've been slacking off on working on the digging and farming in Dwarf City, but I'm not gone for ever, and I will be back soon.

In the wake of the holiday season, I might be a little scarce around here and the server for a few weeks. I will still visit here about everyday and get online occasionally though.

You too m8
I don't think you'll miss a lot though, there seems to be a lot of inactivity at the moment and I personally haven't been on for maybe a month and will probably barely get on in the near future. We'll bounce back like always though
