Blaze grinder

Just a quick note on the blaze grinder and how it works (where it is etc)

Location.

Nether follow the long tunnel to the fortress

go up the ladder and then follow the walk way (you need to around the cobble wall)
Then go down the stairs

through the door then down the ladder again to the bottom of the grinder.

How to use the grinder

Click the button marked open grinder trap door to let blazes fall into the killing zone.

next click the button marked crusher to cause enough damage to the blazes that you can use an instant damage II splash potion to kill them.

You can also use a bow or sword but i find a bow works best if you have lag problems.

Don't go AFK for too long on this grinder people have had issues with the server losing connection if you let too many build up.

like me completely screwing up my internet connection, and not being able to go within 10 blocks of the holding zone...

It works well though, and i'm glad i didnt need to build it :p

I tried it out one day and left it for 4 hours... oops. I was going at 1 fps, nobody else was lagging though

its odd I was in the next chunk of nether while bren was afk at the grinder and i had no problem until i wanted to leave.

i had to walk right past the killing zone of the grinder its was fine until i entered that chunk and man it was like walking through treacle

i have had something similar with the skeleton spawner but its effect was over a greater distance.

generally it just lags the player rendering all the mobs...

and the mobs glitching out pushes you back, which can make things VERY difficult...
