We've had a suggestion from Heracles too... But a cant remember what it is. Basically translates to magnificent city of the dwarves

Somewhat more on topic than Latin names for the city... I just wanted to post a few pictures of what I imagined the blue gem to look like. Something more like a crystal, less round and regular. I can make it bigger of course, and from what I have made on creative I can make plans in 10 minutes that anyone can build off of.
It is also hollow... to conserve on lapis. Not sure if anyone really cares that it is solid lapis through and through, but there it is.

That is currently 17 blocks tall, and 13x11 at the base. After I looked at it again I think I had the same concern, that the present design would not fit the room very well. I can always squish it a bit, but I do think it would be kind of cool to have it come down a good way... kind of looming over the whole room.
