Dwarven Paintings
Ok, we decided on not choosing a texture pack as an official thing for the dwarven city. However, it has been discussed before that we should make a set of paintings for us to use.
If someone can get a .png file of various pictures to use as paintings, in the correct pixel size, I will turn it into a texture pack, which will be default, with the changed paintings. This saves everyone having to mess around within the jar file, however, if you'd rather keep your own texture pack, and would still like the dwarven paintings, i'll release the .png file i'll be using, and you can fiddle with the internal stuff yourself.
One thing!: We need someone who can create some different paintings for us.
The only one I am sure of, is a 1*1 painting, a pickaxe on a stone texture background. 2 of these, but the pickaxe facing a different way for each one.

Re: Dwarven Paintings
I used to do a little bit of texture editing awhile back. If needed I can give it a try again.

Here's some very simple ones I ginned up with help from some actual game textures off the wiki...
The big one reads "MONS DOMUS" in the enchanting alphabet.

Top left small one I like
Try one of the small ones removing the shovel, and putting a grayish texture behind it

Re: Dwarven Paintings
Since Spectrum seems to have the utility paintings covered, I tried to re-texture some of the larger and more decorative paintings. This is my first attempt at some dwarven artwork.
I did this painting in a pretty cheap way. I found a nice dwarven concept picture on the internet and compressed it down to fit the painting. After that I recolored some of the pixels to fit better.
Since I did take this directly from the internet, I'm not sure if it could cause problems.

Can you reference it? As long as some credit is given, we are fine.
For example "original picture derived from..."

Re: Dwarven Paintings
I made a survival inventory texture that I believe fits a dwarven city quite nicely. Unfortunately I have a hard time uploading pics to the forums so I have no pics of it. Maybe I can email it to someone who can?

You know, it might be because I'm tired and laughing at anything right now but that email makes me think of some midget biker gang.
