Mmm, I don't think we've discussed that a lot, but there has been ideas of skylights and other fun stuff. We'll plan the design in the future when we've dug most of it out.

Unless it isn't actually sound in which case it wont sound like sound at all, and sound that doesn't sound like sound is a very unsound concept.

Anyways how long have the cave been in progrezz? Basketball

Hm, I really don't remember. You can probably find the exact date far back in the "what did you do today?" thread. I'm gonna guess it was in july, let's see how close I am...

I joined Mimodo in in digging out the first layers of the quarry when I heard spider shrieks from below. I dug down to find a poison spider spawner. What followed was a mess of death and the both of us running back and forth from the storage after getting repeatedly mangled by the vicious little blue buggers.

We eventually set up a bed at site and took our revenge by nuking 3 spawners and followed it up with a few fun TNT experiments to help the digging, with the results of the quarry looking like a warzone. We then dug a few layers which smoothened it up a little and I think we got about 7(?) layers done all in all.

It was a lot of fun. Feel free to continue the digging Smile

I was right Very Happy and it barely took me 2 minutes to find it, you now owe me 7 and a half months Wink

If you didn't notice, there's 2 versions of the thread. For some reason a few months ago the thread suddenly split and turned the last pages into a new thread, so we just carried on from there.

Btw:

well, that was an interesting conversation to read Wink

Anyway, what we are planning on doing is having a layer of dirt across the entire cave. We shape the floor below that so it's more natural. We then flood the entire cave 1 layer deep above the dirt, meaning it will be completely still. Then we remove the dirt. We will have downwards currents (so try not to swim too much), but the surface will be smooth
