I have. It was disappointing. The much-vaunted 3D/HFR version looked shot-on-videotape cheap and fake. The film drags, and suffers terribly from being stretched out into 3 parts instead of one or two. The art direction/set design was top notch, and I did immediately think "Must build that in minecraft" after seeing the dwarven city under the Lonely Mountain in its pre-Smaug heyday. But the acting was mediocre, the script weak, and I literally fell asleep a couple of times while watching it.

I too thought it was a great movie overall. The special effects, environment, and overall art style is what made the film for me. The story was drawn out quite a bit, but I enjoyed seeing the characters and environments from a book I have read a couple times before. For whatever reason, I ended up not seeing it in 3D, but it wasn't any less enjoyable because of that.

I always seem to enjoy movies and games that other people have many issues and complaints with.

Sounds a bit too guitarish, I can't see dwarves with guitars o.o other than that I can see the appeal

Dwarves don't have the guitars... but what about those who sing the songs about the dwarves (not guitars, but similar stringed instruments)
