New blocks!

For those who don't know yet, we now have a couple of new blocks at our disposal.
New sandstone, and finally new planks! (not that those will be of much use to us at the moment)




The new white planks are made from birch wood, the darker ones from pine and the red ones from jungle wood. The old planks are still made by the standard oak trees and crafted things like stairs or fences will still look the same way even if crafted with any of the new planks.




The smooth sandstone is crafted by putting 4 old sandstone in a square formation in the crafting table. The hieroglyphic one is made by putting 2 sandstone slabs on top of eachother in the crafting table. The creeper faces are not eery at all!

Except the server hasn't been updated yet, so if you update your client, you can't play. Frack.

That reminds me... I've been forgetting to keep my version archive! D; now I'll need to revert to illegal sources for it oh well

Version archive? Why would you need other versions?

It was mainly for the case of the 1.9 ore releases, when I wanted to play on an older server, but sometimes I like to go back and play other versions, to see f it was REALLY actually better that the current version.

Even though biomes can be quite good I still miss the old world generation and I hope they will keep improving it, other than that I don't think it really was that much better back then. There's been so many amazing updates with very few downsides in my opinion. Only thing I can think of that actually bothers me is the void fog and as fellow dwarves you should be able to understand that.

Not understandable at all... I don't even get a chance to see it on the shitbox I call a laptop... If I do go past even short, I start lagging like all hell

I can play on normal and I plan on getting a new computer just to be able to play without crashes and on far.

I do like where Jeb is going with all these decoration blocks. Now we just need some more stone variants to fit in our city.

It's quite good. The one block I always hoped for was marble or something similar. I keep imagining these epic roman style buildings.

Same... I've always wanted to have marble... There's no block even remotely like it
