Dwarven churches and temples.
I think the city could use a church and some temples for worshipping the dwarven gods and deities. Iv been working on a church design but I'm stuck on building a cylinder room with floors that go down in a triangular way. The floor would get filled with lava a covered in glass/ stone bricks. If anyone wants to attempt a test build of my idea feel free too. Post the resulting pics in this topic and all I see if everyone likes how it turns out.

This could be an interesting way to give our city a bit more culture. Also, we can make some interesting statues and altars.

I've always thought this could be a good idea... There's been some comments about not having any religious references to real life though, so we will be creating our own dwarven gods and religion, liking it to real life as little as possible... Show us what you've got though

Here is a chart of pixel circles. It should help with circular rooms.

Re: Dwarven churches and temples.
We need a REALLY large space to make decent statues.....
There's also a chart similar to that for even numbers too...
All ideas you can come up with in creative are greatly appreciated though

Ideas of statues? They do indeed need to be quite large to look like anything but a pile of blocks.

What if instead of worshiping a deity, the dwarves worships symbols that stand for ideas and qualities or objects of
power/wealth ect. so we can build things that are smaller than full statues of people/gods ect. thoughts?

I still say we should have a huge temple where there are statues outside it.

I like the idea of developing the dwarves lore, which involves a religion generally, so perhaps once we finish the farm caves we can get a full discussion going on this
